ignore both... first why is it that you dont want to tan indoors?

also i recomend you get some lotion that is lower than s.p.f. 15 because 15 blocks all uv rays, also make sure that the lotion has some sort of tan accelerator and a bronzer. yo can get natural bronzers, like at my work (palladium tan) we sell mutiple natural bronzer. i would suggest Revival by Designer Skin, it uses coffee beans instead of DHA (the stuff that turns you orange

Tan accelerators work because there is an ingredient called Tyrosine in them.

Tyrosine in an amino acid which stimulates melanin production.
Tan Accelerators
Melanin is the bodies natural defense against the sun. The average body produces a thirty minute supply a day. That’s why in a tanning bed the longest you’ll be able to tan is thirty minutes because after thirty minutes your natural supply of melanin is used. Normally it takes between 2-3 minutes before your skin starts to get darker, because the rays have react with the melanin. When you put a tan accelerator on, your skin starts getting darker immediately when sunlight or UV rays interact with it. So instead of only getting darker for 17 or 18 minutes you’ll be getting darker for 20 minutes or however long you tan for. Plus when you wear a tan accelerator or a tanning lotion your skin is moisturized and hydrated, which is the opposite of what the sun does to your skin. There are several types of tanning lotion, those with bronzer and those with tingle. Bronzer has “self-tanner” or DHA in it but a very minute amount. Most of the bronzers that we carry use ingredients like coffee bean so your skin gets more of a brown color instead of an orange color. Tingle is an ingredient that makes your blood circulate faster so you tan better. It would be comparable to exercising in the sun as opposed to just laying out. You get a better tan when you’re active, which is what tingle is in a nutshell.

Ignore Jodi...you may get a great tan after frying yourself with a sunburn, but is it really worth it when 10 years down the road you're diagnosed with melanoma???
