Hi
Make sure you go to Kings Park and see the views over our beautiful city, at night is great,( if you can get there then) becoz all the city lights and the metro area, all look so pretty from up there!
Visit rottnest island, a ferry departs Fremantle and Hillarys boat harbour, many tmes a day! Ride around the island by bike (you can hire a bike on the island)
Drive into the swan valley . Wine tasting is available there and lots of fruit and the best thing -The Margaret River Chocolate Factory, is right in the heart of the Swan valley (its only a short drive from the City Centre (25 minutes)!
Go down south if you have time and visit margaret river and all those places, they are nice little towns.
Go city shopping.
Fremantle
Hillarys Boat Harbour
Drive into the Perth Hills, there a loads of things to do there!
Enjoy your Holiday here! Hope this gives you some good ideas! :)

Just visited there in January - here are some ideas...
Go to the beach - Scarborough Beach is pretty nice...
There is a big park (King's Park) in Perth that has a "treetop walk" which gives you a pretty nice view of te surroundings... there are a few good places on the waterfront to eat/drink... I'd definitely take the bus/train to Fremantle (quaint little place with a few touristy things and a couple of markets. Margaret River is a 5 hour bus ride south but worth it for the wineries - many with tastings available (and a few with good restaurants - I especially liked Cullen Wines - organic/biodynamic)

Also plan on how you are going to get around. If you leave Perth for any of the regional towns it can be quite a distance. There are bus services, but the only rail outside of the metropolitan area is east to Kalgoorlie or south to Bunbury (plus stops in between of course).
