No they dont. They dont decide how much of points someone gets if you answer a question right. Its just a joke.

You won't get the points if you don't get chosen as best answer...
Answering the question right does not mean that you get the 10 points...
Only the BEST ANSWER gets the 10 points...

well sometimes. if u say who ever gets it right they get ten points, if you don't choose the best answer, then the people on yahoo answers vote 4 which one is most reasonable. if that person does go back to that question and see if someone did got it right, then thats different.

All depends if the person actually picks a good answer or not. People can vote for the best answer if the asker doesn't choose one. You can choose a best answer after four hours.
