If there was a creature that existed for the sole purpose of being the most yummy healthy thing to eat on the planet(like it would add quality years to your life) BUT it had to be eaten alive in order to taste good/be benefiting to your health would you eat it?
You can decide if it's a cute or ugly creature, whichever you'd prefer...

Keep in mind that this creature will remain alive while you're eating it, and this is no one bite meal it'll take 2 or three and it gets to watch you while you eat it.

Presumably, if its sole purpose for existing was to be a yummy foodstuff, then by not eating it we would be robbing its life of meaning.
A painful death, or a meaningless life? Personally, given the nature of its existence, I think it would be crueler NOT to eat it.

No. no matter how "yummy" something is or how many years it might add to my life, I could not eat a live creature. One major concern for me would be the eating of blood which the Bible says should not be consumed. Although I am not a vegetarian and have no qualms about eating properly bled meat, there is still the concern of compassion for the creature who must suffer pain for the duration of your eating him.

too many creatures all ready exist for that sad purpose. Most people think that cows, chickens, and pigs were put on this earth solely to eat. I know its not what your asking, but its sad that so many animals are housed in horrible conditions, then slaughtered to satisfy the greed of man. I will eat my lovely fruits and veggies live any day

There is already one like that. It' called a Crawfish...lol.
And in response to beebs answer. Animals were put on the Earth for humans to eat, especially cows, pigs, and chickens, not to mention all other wildlife. Thats how mankind survives. I love animals, They're delicious....

i wouldn't work. ppl want the easy way when it comes to eating healthy. but to answer your question, i wouldn't eat a pretty animal.
