It seems like whenever I leave the computer for even a minute it pops into screensaver mode - I do not want it to display that way - I want it to always stay open to whatever program/website I was in. Thanks.

Leaving your screen active while you are away from the computer just adds to the strain on the system to continue producing the screen for nothing! Not only that, the Screen Saver, and that is just what it is, increases the live of your monitor/LCD panel.

To answer your question: Right click on your desk top, select properties, then screen saver.

You don't say whether you're on Windows, Mac, or other.

Try looking in Help for your computer, or in the Control Panels (energy saver, if you're on a laptop).

The others gave instructions for (some versions of?) Windows.

You do this through the control panel and its in the display settings and in there there is table called screen saver. Everything is pretty well explained there.

LOOK where it says

WAIT : (this amount of mins)
increase or decrease and click apply
