a hamburger is called that cause it was invented based on the hamburg steak a long island iced tea is an ironic name based on the view that long island people are lush's therefore instead of sipping tea on the deck in the summer like people in the south they sip a drink that is filled with every kind of liquor and and served in an iced tea glass
