Truth hurts, but I rather know the truth than a lie. If you found the truth now, it'll hurt. But if you find out the truth later on but someone lied to you about it before, that's even worst! It's like, why are you hiding the truth that you have to lie? Like in a relationship. If your bf didn't tell you the truth, why? to keep you from getting mad. NO! Because he knows its wrong and WOULD make you mad. So lying is a NO,NO! Truth is better. If you lie about the truth, you're hiding something.

Truth of course, but with consideration for feelings as well. Like if you know the truth will hurt, drop it in a gentle way, and avoid "white lying", because if that person found out you white lied, that may make them feel even worse..

Truth. even though the truth may hurt sometimes. But whats done in the dark will be brought to the light....it cant stay a lie forever.

The truth is that when I married my husband I knew the following
which where all true
-he was 30
-he was an alcoholic
-he was into drugs (but not dependent on)
-his former girlfriends consisted of a Amsterdam hooker and various other unglorifieds.
I married him anyway, sobered him up, he does no drugs of any kind and no we don't have any of the health problems you are thinking. Also I knew I didn't care because I loved him and I knew I could help him pull through.
