I have this shampoo because I have naturally wavey hair that makes my head look like a rat's nest. I followed the directions but it doesn't make your hair completely straight. The waves in my hair were just a bit less though.
When your hair is still wet after using the shampoo and conditioner use a hair dryer to get it straight.
If you use a flat iron after its dry you get a horribley nasty smell from your hair. I believe its from this shampoo because I've never had that problem before. The smell will linger too and I mean linger!
I found out using a hair dryer after washing your hair and towel drying it a bit helps a lot. I do this everytime and my hair comes out practically straight. (Practically because I can't get the cowlicks out of the front of my hair.)
Good luck with your hair though!

I can tell you this right now, you might be by no means going to get pinstraight hair from a product. You either need to get it chemically treated, be superb at blowdrying (but that is not going to work wonders in any case) or get a straightener. The shampoo may fit to tame it a little bit, but subsequently its all stylish on the way you sort it.

Didn't work for me or my friend, best bet is a conditioning shampoo and conditioner and just get a flat iron, that will make your hair straight as a PIN. and much faster!

i will assist you to recognize this precise now, you're by no ability going to get pinstraight hair from a product. You the two ought to get it chemically taken care of, be very sturdy at blowdrying (yet that may not artwork wonders anyhow) or get a straightener. The shampoo would artwork to tame it in ordinary terms a sprint, yet contained in the top its all based on the way you type it.

No it does not work. And do not use Herbal Essences shampoos and conditioners. They contain cancer causing agents in them.

It works really good.
Especially if you shampoo and condition with it.
Then flat iron or blow dry with the finishing spray.
I've straightened my hair with their product and got alot of compliments!

NO!! i used to use it and i loved it at first. then after about a week i noticed that it made my hair puffy and it is really bad for your scalp. i mean most drugstore bought shampoos are bad for your scalp but some are better than others.
the worst kinds are pantienne pro-v, hearbal essance, sunsilk
the better kinds are garnier frutice(my fav), thermasilk

It does straighten it out and control fizz, but its not perfectly straight. I usually use that, blow dry my hair, and then run a straightener over it.
