I met a woman recently. We got on really well. It really didn't surprise me when a mutual friend told me that she was - shall we say - romantically inclined towards me! I had to admit that I too was romantically inclined towards her!

Then came the next piece of information. "She's got a boyfriend though".

I don't think this woman wants to have a clandestine affair with me (maybe she does), but I think she may be lining me up for a next boyfriend. I don't think a woman who is satisfied in a relationship gets word to other men that she is interested in them romantically.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. I'd be very interested to hear what opinions you answerers have about this.

Maybe she needs to know that you would be interested if she ditched her b/f. She maybe doesn't want to risk ditching this guy if you're not interested. But really she needs to show the maturity to ditch this guy if she doesn't think it's going anywhere. If she's scared of not having any relationship, maybe she has issues and lots of baggage, so try to understand what she is like, and if you think she is safe, just tell her that you'd be interested if she was single.

This woman likes you! I have been in this situation. I was very unhappy with my boyfriend who I lived with when I met this other person and I seriously fell in love with him. Nothing untoward happened between me and the other man except fllirting really. I would not have done this at all if I had been happy with my boyfriend but this man was too good to miss and really strong feelings were there. Anyway to cut a long story short I am trying to move out and then I will start something with the new man. If shes showing clear signs that shes interested then tell her you really like her but won't get involved until she has moved out. Make it clear though that you feel strongly for her and that YOU won't bail on HER!

As the old saying goes ....... you can window shop but not buy!!!
I suppose she can still say this but refuse to take things further.
My question to you would be would you trust her if you knew she could do this to another person..... its ok when you meet but after the old feelings kick in you would be inclined to wonder if she was doing this to you!!!!! Yes?????

Thats a tough one. Its hard to say what her intentions are with you. Unless shes not the monogamous type, she probley isnt happy with her man, givin the fact that shes interested in someone else.
