i live in alkuwait with my hussband , we have 3 children next year inshaa allah we will be iin alriyadh ,his salary 22,000
can any one tell me how much we need to live in a compound (45-50)per year,name a compounds in this range and describe the life inside it .(how can woman manage her life ,how she can go for markting ...without driving)
and about schools i need the name of international schools

you will have no problem whatsoever in Saudi.. There are taxis available everywhere, in fact, they fight each other to get a customer (not literally, but you wont have a problem finding them).. Most compounds have their own shuttle bus systems that taxi women shoppers to and from the many local hot shopping spots and malls... You will find and make friends with many women of your own similaries and they can fill you in on the comings and goings to do there.. Shopping is a breese.. You can now find just about anything you need in Saudi,, its an import country.. All the top European, Asian and American products available.. Clothing included.. Most compounds organize womens groups and activities.. You can become as active or inactive as you want.. You'll enjoy it, and your kids will have a cultural advantage that no book can offer.. enjoy!

If it is 22,000 Saudi Riyal per month?, You will have no problem in Riyadh. If it is 22,000 Kuwaiti Dinar, than you will be fine.
There are many western compounds in Riyadh. Supermarkets are everywhere, and you can have any item delivered to your home free usually.
As for driving and being a woman , this isn't Bahrain or UAE it is forbidden here. The American school of Riyadh is very good. They also have a small British school.
I am happy I no longer live in Saudi Arabia. Dubai is much more better for young people.

Well, if the compound costs 50,000 a year, it'll be 4160/month, you'll still have 17,840/month left. No problems there.
Women can not drive, but they can own cars, so they can hire drivers if their mahrams aren't around. Or they can just go in a taxi.
But many compounds even have supermarkets inside them, or very close to them, you could just walk there.
Theres the American International School, British School Riyadh(GCSE), Manarat School(GCSE) (very popular), Middle East International School(GCSE), and many others I don't remember.

You need to live in the Diplomatic Quarter, its beautiful, very safe and cheapier. Taxis are everywhere and reasonable. there are many international school, every country has their own. The American School is very expensive about $30,000 per year, but there are others.

no worries things will be fine in riyadh 22000 will treat good the compound will cost you about 50,000 and living in riyadh is cheap and you will be needing to get a driver you will adjust
