that could be pretty easy. Get the alternator and an old style fan that is belt driven, and the belt and fan housing too. You could probably find all those at a junkyard.

From there you could just use a straight 2x4 board and mount the fan housing and the alternator so that you can run the belt around the two spindles and there you go. You could make it as complex as you want from there, setting it up so that it always turns into the wind, and so on.

You won't be able to run your household electricity from that, but you could charge up a car battery and run any kind of 12 volt electrical item you'd find in a car such as a radio or a cell phone charger or lights.

Attach a fan belt to the rotating propeller you have, and the other end of that spins the alternator.

You will need a battery to hold your charge, and a voltage regulator to ensure you do not overcharge, and burn out, your battery
