#1. if a tree falls in a forest and nobody and nothing is is around to hear it does it make a sound.....if so how do you know?

#2. there are 3 hunters...they decide to stay at a lodging facility.....they walk in and ask how much it is to stay in a lodge for the night.....the clerk(the owners son) says it 30 dollars per lodge a night....so each hunter hands him a 10 dollar bill....the dad/owner is walking back and notices someone is staying the night so he asks his son how much he charged them....he replies 30 dollars...the dad says its supposed to only be 25 dollars....so the dad hands him 5 singles and tells him to return it to them.....the son on the way had no idea how to split a 5 betwwen three men.....so he kept 2 and gave each hunter one dollar....so now the hunters paid 27 dollars for the lodge...if you add the 2 in the sons pocket you get 29....what happened to the other dollar???? i know the anwers but i want to see someone else try!

1. Yes, when two objects collide, it creates soundwaves. When the soundwaves bounces of other objects it creates a sound. Does it make a sound when I type even though you're not here? Yes it does but how? I'm here to verify it.

2. What's the deal with this mathematical question? It's common sense; you add and subtract, not multiply.

30(total)-5(refund)=25(new total)/5(refund)-2(son)=3(men)

25(new total)+2(so)+3(men)=30(old total)

1) yes we wouldnt be able to hear it but it still make a sound...its a tree...its heavy...it go boom....

2) there is no missing dollar. they didnt pay $27 for the lodge. they only paid $25 for the lodge. 3 dollars back is 28 plus the 2 dollars the son has makes $30

2. 9x3=27. 27-2=5. When u do 27+3=30. That's the money the hunters got back. 27-2=5. That's the $2 that the son kept.

yes it makes sound, sound has nothing to do with hearing it, it is the movement of waves through the air, so this phenomena will happen if you are there to hear it or not.

wrong thinking on the 30 bucks, each paid 9 bucks, so 27 minus the 2 the clerk kept makes 25 for the room, you are going the wrong way with the math.

no, because sound is the sensation produced by stimulation of the organs of hearing by vibrations transmitted through the air or other medium.

25+3 doesn't equal 27, it equals 28. so 28 for the rooms, and two for the bellhop.
