That really depends on your age. If you're a legal adult, then you don't need their permission to date the person of your choice. However, if you're a teenager, and still living with your parents, then they do have the final say. Good luck! You might want to sit down and talk with them about the good things you see in her; you might be able to convince them to stay open-minded about her.

Don't listen to what the world thinks. If you're happy with her and she's not hurting you, then THEY should be happy for YOU. Trust me, your family and parents won't hate you for loving her. If it's true love then you should fight to keep it.

god this is hard been here many times .. there is nothing you can do .. and dont do anything ,,your parents should be happy if you are ? why dont they like her is their a real reason ? but tough tell them you are old enough to make discions and to respect you , if it goes wrong then you learn from it. also your girlfriend should make effort too ,,both ways. tell ya parents do you want me to lie to you and go behind your back? no !! well then trust my judgment xx
good luck xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Perhaps if you told your parents just how much she means to you they will have the good graces to be there for you when you need them and allow you to have the life that you have chosen for yourself and with the one that you have chosen. Not their choice.

as much as parents want to get involved... its your life. end of story. you need to know what you want and then go after it, and if you really love your girlfriend than you're not going to listen to others when they try to become obstacles in your relationship! just be strong and good luck! :D
