I've liked this girl for almost five years, and every year the like goes even deeper. I don't understand because I would have that it would have went away by now but it hasn't. Is this love?

it takes time for someone to develop love for someone and five years could be more than enough for some people. Do you get jealous when she speak of other guys or when guys hit on her. Do you find yourself thinking of her at odd times; or anticipate calling her sometimes? Did you introduce her to your family? would you like to? If you've answered yes to these questions than you're in love or very infatuated with her and love is right around the corner but I do believe you're in love.

Tell you the truth love is not very prevalent anymore not even with people who profess christianity, everything now is just chances taken and hoping for the best.

love doesnt exist, really it doesn't, it's all in the head, there isn't a barrier that crosses which means you are officially in love, when you feel strongly enough, feel strong affection for someone you like to admit to yourself that you are in love when really it's just an emotion of being close to someone

I know it's love when I can't stop thinking of her. If you feel like you're missing a part of you when you're not with her, and when you think of her you feel like nothing in this world is wrong, you're probably in love.

sounds like deep infatuation we wont what we can't have i know its not what you wanna hear but the more we can't have something the more we want it if you actually got her 5 years ago you'd have most likely broken up soon after and moved on
