Do not use any cream on any part of your body if it has mineral oil, it hardens skin not softens it.

Use a face cream. It's best. Your face needs moisture
it has a ton of pores and clogs easily so stick to a product that is best for you.

It's not bad to use on your face, unless you have sensitive skin and acne prone skin. Other than that I'm sure it'll be fine. Try using lotions particularly for the face. Sunscreen in it is best.

It is if you have oily skin. It is okay to use a bit for softening skin, but the oil content could make you break out badly. Lotion is lotion, so you don't have to worry.
