It depends on a lot of variables.
What is the insulation rating on your cooler? Higher the number the better the insulation and the longer it stays cool.
Is the cooler filled to capacity with ice? More ice, the longer it stays cool.
Are some of the items already frozen? If so, the longer it stays cool/cold.
What is the room temp? 55 or 105? The cooler the room temp the longer your cooler stays cool.
Is the cooler sitting in bright sunshine or sitting in shade? Dark cooler colors can absorb heat from bright sunlight while light colored coolers tend to reflect the heat in sunlight, therefore keeping the "cooler" cooler.
If you are talking about ice cream, it starts to melt around 33 to 35 and can get soupy rather quickly. Other items such as frozen meat and frozen fruits and vegetables can last longer when kept chilled.
So my estimation would be around (worst case scenario, all variables at their lowest) 1 hour to (best case scenario, all variables at their highest) 24 hours.

Depending on the type of cooler and the temperature of the room it could last up to 24 hours or longer.
