cats and dogs will eat grass to help calm them and their tummys, whats weird is that my cats will do the same thing, even tho they throw up the green stuff a few hours later.

i'm guessing it's good for there stomach with a specific kind of grass. my aunt's cat always eats grass he got worms one time but he's ok now. there is a specific kind of grass desined for cats to eat. u can grow it nad then give it the them.

Well, they do that because they enjoy munching on greenery. Many cats do that, though not all.

its got something to do with detoxifying themselves, cats eat grass to clean their tummy and to cough out hairballs.
