Well our sessions are about to end, so technically he wouldnt be my trainer anymore.
I dunno if its such a hot idea? Or am I over thinking this too much? Just seems me if things didnt work out or what have you, wouldn' t my business have the potential of flying around the gym among the staff?! Also, the thought then runs through my mind of how many of his other clients has he asked out? Is this just some sort of male ego thing or what? What do you guys think? I kinda want to go for it honestly.

I had a personal trainer for years whom I continue to have the utmost respect for. Although we didn't have a romantic relationship, over the years I did share personal details of my life with him, and it never crossed my mind that it would go any further. He is a person of extreme integrity. He is also married to a woman whom he once trained.

I think the bottom line is that it is the man not the job that counts. There is nothing intrinsically sleazy about a trainer who asks a client out. You need to ask yourself whether these doubts stem from a misplaced stereotype you have in your head or whether your instinct is warning you that he is not a guy to be trusted. If it is the latter, don't even consider it. On the other hand, if it is the former, why not go on a date and see how it goes?

I am in the same business as him and all I can say after years of working as one don't trust personal trainers. Most of the guys love themselves and think they are gods gift to women. They tend to chase any skirt. I don't think we should ta them all with the same brush however 9 times out of 10 that is the case. So don't go for it and have some respect for yourself. You deserve better.

Sounds like to me you really want to go. Trust your gut feeling. As long as you and him will not have a business relationship anymore it should be fine. He is your personal trainer so you should know all you need to know about his personality by now.

Sounds like you wanna shag the guy. Go for it! Unless of course you have a reputation to uphold.
