Party.....although we all know the Rapture will NEVER happen. People have been waiting for 2,000 years and will continue to wait for as long as Christianity exists.

If the rapture ever actually occurred we would have a world wide party for sure.

What chaos? Without all of the Christians trying to make everyone believe what they do, people could live in peace.

So you think there will be chaos? The world can't go on without christians? The world got along without chaos for thousands of years before christianity, why wouldn't it after 'god snatches up all...christians'?

The origins of the doctrine of the rapture are hotly debated. The Orthodox, mainline Protestant, and Roman Catholic churches, which represent the majority of Christians worldwide, have no tradition of such a teaching and reject the doctrine, in part because they cannot find any reference to it among any of the early Church fathers and in part because they do not interpret the scriptures the way that Rapture-believers do.

Hey, dip5hit, I don't think we have much to worry about - you guys have been waiting around since the first century thinking he's comin' back any day now. I think I have a better chance with the Easter bunny - at least he leaves eggs.
And, by the way, how very "Christian" of you to ask such a mean spirited elitist question in the first place. God may ask you to wait for the next bus if you don't start acting more nicely.

2 Peter 3:10  But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

Who is left behind?

GOD bless

I'm going to break out the oldest bottle of wine, have some shrimp and say, Thank God I thought they never leave.

Lets Get the Party Started.

I would think they would be crying and hollering out to God to have mercy and rapture them up too and partying would definitely be far from their minds.

Do you actually think that this is what God expects from you as a witnessing member of His church? Try telling people about God's love for them, and go on from there.

I'd just keep living my life the best way I know how. I'd rather go to hell than worship the mythological Abrahamic deity. Probably would be much more peaceful though, not chaotic.
