CarMax is a rip off! Do not EVER , under ANY circumstances sell your car to them they will rip you off. My friend was gonna sell hers to them for $2600, I sold it for her and got $4995 ! They used to say that their cars were never in accidents, they don't say that anymore and I can see they're taking in wrecked vehicles. Use CarMax as a starting off place to compare and negotiate with OTHER dealers. (ex. Well I can buy one just like it at CarMax for $XXXX) Do the same with any "one price" dealerships, go there first for pricing education then negotiate a better price elswhere!

CarMax is a joke. Their "salespeople" don't know anything about cars. They just want to show you a picture and a price tag. They are usually priced over the market value.

But what do you expect from a car lot owned by Circuit City?
