I am 27 and I love it when my parents call. It tells me that even though i am self suffecient that they still worry

Of course. I have a very close relationship with my parents. Sometimes it used to irk me like my mother was "checking up on me". But now I am getting ready to have a child of my own--and this parenting instinct it starting to kick in. I can undestand why my parents still care--they are MY parents. I will always be their child. Someday they won't be around--and I know I will miss those "checking up" phone calls. So, I enjoy the time I do have with them.
Plus, my mother always tells me the silly things my father does now that he is retired, so that cracks me up.

Yes Me and my Mom talk if not every day ever other day and I am 36.I have a son who is 36 and He got married in Sept and I used to call him everyday But he is Married Now and I try not to call him as much.He only lived 10 minutes away so he comes to visit often.

Since my parents are deceased, we can no longer call each other. We did talk a lot by phone when they were alive and it was quite enjoyable and fun.
(if either of them called me now, I would figure that my time on earth would soon be ending.)

Yes, I call my parents every day we only live 15 minutes away but we only see esch other on the weekends due to our jobs, but I make sure to call them at least every day just to say hi, and make sure they are okay.... We have always had a good relationship and is healthy and makes me feel good....

yes i quite enjoy having my parents call me. Makes me remember that there are 2 people who love me unconditionally.

i don't mind it at all... i love my parents. what i don't like is them calling me several times in a day or a short period of time.

I talk to my mom everyday. We dont live in the same state anymore so we talk every morning while we drink coffee. She asks how the grandchildren are and I enjoy it.

It doent bother me but im 16 years old and they dont call that much and i dont see them that much so I like talking to them somtimes
