No, it's not "bad" if you buy it from Wal-Mart instead of a salon. There are some very good and fairly inexpensive drugstore brands. I've never been a huge fan of Suave, but VO5 works pretty well if you are looking for uber-cheap hair care. If you want to spend a few extra dollars, go for Pantene or Tresemme. They both work very well. However, my favorite drugstore brands are Got 2 B and Bedhead. Good luck and I hope you find something usable.

No, there usually not salon products, but they work good. I use pantene shampoos and conditioners, and they work great. It depends on what hair type you have.

If your finding that none of them work, ask a salon on what type of shampoo/cond. you should use. Remember that the pricey stuff is not always the best. But if you don't mind spending a little extra money, try redkan.

Good luck!

Wal-Mart does provide some top quality products, but maybe your hair is not compatible with what they stock. Try BodyWorks, they sell really good stuff that's natural and smells great too!

Wal-Mart does have some good things. It depends on the brand. Try Tres-Eme[not sure if I spelled it right?] or Pantene.

Or else try a salon =]

I would say go for Pantene Pro-V...unless you've already tried it. Head and shoulders works really well. I just found that out for myself last night. Sometimes you need to stop washing every other day, let your natural oils from scalp nourish your hair. Also helps it grow and avoid dry scalp.

Not neccesarily, but it's always safer to buy hair products from a salon since it's possible that they could have been tampered with anywhere else.

Suave is really bad 4 ur hair! Get treseme(sp?) or Sunsilk. Conditioner sometimes makes ur hair oily so don't use very much if you do use it.
