i assume you mean how long is the stop time at traffice signals, I think they all vary depending on the light and the cross street and they are also programmed to change during different times of the day to correspond with the traffic patterns, ie: shorter lights at busy streets during ruch hour, longer green lights in the middle of the night, etc...

For as long as it's red. It varies by type and location. Some are on timers, others are controlled by approaching traffic.

i always thought that there were sensors at the lights to know when there is a lot of traffic and when there is not....
