Like any liqueur, I think it's good for a long time. As long as it has the cap on it. I had some of this stuff at my bar for over 4 years and I think it was actually over 5 years old-kept on the rail, not in the fridge-and it was still "good" (if you like that sort of stuff) I think we served it warmed up topped with raisins and almonds if my memory is correct. Just like all booze it will lose some of the alcohol potency due to evaporation over time. Also, life expectancy diminishes quicker if it is homemade.
