Is UMOHS a good online high school?

Have graduates gone to top colleges and universities? Also, what other suggestions for a gifted student? (what online or distance learning programs?) Please help ASAP! Thanks so much! I will choose a Best Answer ASAP! Thanks! =)

I've never heard of UMOHS, which is not saying it's good or bad - I've just never heard of it. If you want to find out about their graduates, ask them - if their students have been successful, they'll be shoutng it from the rooftops. If not, they'll quietly redirect your question to another subject.

You don't have to use a "program" or curriculum to get into a top college. Many of the homeschoolers who are accepted at top colleges probably didn't have a set curriculum or program that they followed.

For a gifted student, I would recommend you check out, "The Well-Trained Mind" by Jessie Bauer and Susan Wise-Bauer. Their "plan" would work well for a gifted student, but you have to be willing to put in the time to work with the student. It's not something you just put in front of the student and tell them to finish.
