How come so many guys get made fun of at school for being a virgin? I mean personally I don't think it's right. Some guys lie so they don't look stupid to other guys. I mean my boyfriend is still a virgin and he lies about it so others don't think he's lame or something. I think it's a good thing to be a virgin and I'm proud of my man for still being a virgin because he's eighteen. What do you think of my question, I mean I think it's stupid that guys get made of fun for this reason and for all things to get made fun of why this? I love my boyfriend for still being a virgin, but in a guys perception it's the opposite

It's because boys think that being a virgin is not cool, at least for boys, but if a girl is a virgin they think its good because they can be the first to pop the girls cherry.

It's a very brave thing to still be a virgin at his age, it is very stupid that he get's made fun of. Tell him not to allow other people's thoughts run his life. While they have 5 kids by 4 different women and have std's galore, he would have saved something for the person he loves. and won't have to regret anything

It is just plain none of anyone's business. That's not information to give out, so don't. It's not a good idea to say you are a virgin, even to a close friend. Don't let people trap you into an answer about your virginity.

yet, so was I! I had everyone thinking that I had lost mine at 13...
