im on my computer 3-4 hours a day. sometimes more. sometimes less. if i continue this, will i get blind one day? i already gotta wear glasses to see far. everythings blurry. im really scared.

since i have been on my computer this much, i keep on seeing flashy different colored lights in my eyes all the times. when i cose my eyes i see them. they're everywhere

3-4 hours at day....will take 15 years to do the laser
and u will be ready for 15 years more
do not worry
i am 6 - 8 hours daily

Flat screen monitors are easier on the eyes than the older kind.
A lot of officer workers are at a computer nearly 8 hours per day.
Just take frequent breaks and you'll be okay.

yes, after a long hard day at work of staring at the computer and then coming home and staring at the computer and tv my eyes are really tires. They get irritated and hurt. I know i'm cause damage to my eyes, but I really can't give up working on the computer or watching tv.

To alleviate your concerns, you should know that this question has been studied and no, the screen itself hasn't been shown to cause ill affects. What does cause ill affects is poor lighting, bad placement of the monitor or a pre-existing condition.

i dont think u will go completly blind but i do know that since i had my pc me and my husbands eyes will satrt to hurt if were on for to long im not shure y this happends but i suddgest speaking to ur eye docter the way we will u dont wanna take any chances with ur vision its better to be safe then sorry take care

This will not make youy go blind but if you get blurry eyes then you could be goin blind from natural causes. unless you computer screen constantly flashes. if that does happen then it is possible that your eyes can get hurt.

only if you poke your eyes out with your computer you will, else you won't, really have you ever heard of anybody that gottenblind by a computer and if you could, there would be so many people sewing the company's, think about it

Nah, how do u believe that, I get on the computer more then that( when I can).I don;t wear glasses and I'm not getting blind but, maybe sensitive people does. *^-^* (n_n) (u_u) O-o

No, I don't think so, your eyes will probably start to hurt, or you might have to get glasses, buyt I don't think it'll make you blind.
