You didn't say WHERE in So Cal so I will be vague concerning area-but Legoland is AWESOME!!! I reccomend it to anyone with a 2-8 year old. It is clean, not too big, FUN, the kids love it, etc! Also-Adventure City in OC near Knotts Berry Farm is PERFECT for a 2 yr old & very cheap! It's like an inexpensive version of Disneyland for little little kids. Also-the SD zoo is fun, Knotts Camp Snoopy, Santa Ana Zoo, Sea World, and teh Balboa Fun Zone-play games, ride the ferris wheel & take a ferry boat ride over to Balboa Island & back! Then have lunch/dinner at Rubys on the pier.

check out bright child on 4th st in santa monica, douglass park on wilshire, the touch tanks at either the long beach aquarium, the cabrillo aquarium or the heal the bay ocean discovery center at the santa monica peir. framers markets are good too
