easiest thing to do as a beginer is play only premium -- AA, KK, QQ, JJ, TT, 99, 88, AK suited, AK unsuited, AQ suited, KQ suited.
As you get better, you can learn to play more hands .. but as a beginier if you play these hands and fold everything else you should do okay

Texas Hold'em is the easiest of all poker games to learn. You 2 cards in your hand and decide to play them or not. Only play pairs and high cards to start with. You learn others by practice. The first 3 cards of the flop will be put out. Now you have a 5 card hand and you know whether or not you have anything. Next is the turn card and the river. I am sure you have heard these terms before. That's it. The rest comes with experience and practice. Remember patience, patience, patience. play the free games for awhile, but play them like it was real money. Don't play like you see on t.v. They are pro's in big money tournaments. The play is much diff. than live low limit games. Always remember it is a GAME. Your supposed to have fun. This is not an easy way to make a living.

The rules are not that hard you just use the two cards you are dealt and the five cards on the table then you pick the best five for your hand.
If you really want to learn how to play and the rules you can buy used books on the internet and learn that way.
if you are of legal age you can play at the free site on the internet and they have the rule's in the help section.

Texas Hold 'em is an easy game to catch on to. There are numerous website that offer tutorials and online poker apps. The point of the game is get a good poker hand using two cards dealt to you. There are five cards dealt, three- then bets are placed. One- then bet. And the last card "river"- last bets.

Based on your writing skills, Texas Hold'em is probably a little much for you at this point. You might want to play something simpler like snakes and ladders.

the best way to win is knowing what hands to hold, and which ones to fold. Also, every great player in the world applies alot of aggression.
