There is a small Foodland at the Ala Moana Shopping Center and a larger Foodland in Kapahulu, just north of Waikiki. The closest Safeway would be on Beretania Street, about a mile from the Ala Moana SC. There is a Sam's Club near the Ala Moana SC. Another chain market would be Times. There are a few small, community markets too. You'll have to check the internet or the local paper.
There are numerous Farmers Markets on Oahu. I don't know if it is still there, but there was one every Saturday at the Kapiolani Community College campus, near Diamond Head. There is a farmers market near the Ward Warehouse, one in the business district on the Fort Street Mall and numerous mobile ones in various communities. You will need a car or catch the bus. (Honolulu has a very good bus system,.)

I don't know what hotel you're staying at but on Kuhio Avenue, there is a Food Pantry. It is, however, outrageous pricey. The closet supermarkets are FoodLand, which is on Beretania Street and Kalakaua Avenue; and a few blocks from there is Safeway. These are your closest and best bet. Hopefully, you will have a car to haul your groceries because, while catching a bus is a good idea, you can only have what you can put on your lap, there are restrictions on The Bus. Even if you just rent a car for a day to do all your shopping is best, you don't want to shop at FoodPantry; the prices will give you a heart attack! Aloha

You will need to check out the weekend farmers markets that can spring up in parking lots in some areas. Check for seafood around the dock areas for fishmongers. There are many markets to try, ethnic are fun to see too. Just be smart and make sure the place is clean and the items for sale fresh.
Are you going alone or do you have friends/family there? If you are going alone, be careful, people from the mainland are not always welcome. Don't go out at night alone or to places where you could be harmed easily.
