BMI is an awful measurement. Personally I would just use it as a novelty. It does not take ANYTHING other than weight into effect. Muscle, fat, bone mass, water weight, etc are all lumped into one. For example. I am 5'6" with weight that fluctuates between 180-200 on any given day. I am a very broad person whose legs are very build up from playing hockey and skating for years. According to one BMI I did I was morbidly obsesses. I do feel like I'm overweight and if you look at me you'd agree that i could lose a few pounds. But to be morbidly obese because I have a lot of heavy muscle in my legs? Give me a break. BMI is just another one of those things to make people feel like the need to diet or hit a GNC for some weight loss supliment.

For your case: A) your 13. Finish growing before you worry about your weight or BMI. B) you play sports so your BMI, like mine, should be higher than someone who doesn't . And C) Get far away from whoever up into your head BMI at the age of 13. If it was your coach report him, if it was a teacher tell your parents. Three things you need to worry about: Do you feel healthy, do you look healthy, does your doctor say you are healthy. If anyone else tells you otherwise or says you should be watching your weight, is doing harm to you and you need to get them away from you by any means nessessary.

It's hard to say. The question is what percent body fat do you have? You need to go to a gym or a doctor to have this measured. Heck, you could weigh 160 and still be OK (if you were, say, 7% body fat).
