When still dating? Like a fourth date or so? I was thinking of seeing that 300 movie with her but it's like the attention is on the movie not on us. We really just like to hang out together at my place anyway, so even though I told her we would go see it this weekend I am thinking maybe telling her were staying in is better?

ask what she perfers. Then go a long with it. I understand the whole "the focus is on the movie", but a movie isn't bad every once in a while.

YIkes..300 is a pretty graphic movie. Movies are, in my opinion, boring since you are both in a dark room looking at a big screen. Not much conversation and getting-to-know-one-another going on there. Except maybe some kissing. Instead:
-Order pizza and play board games, cards with favorite music in background.
-Go on a hike, packing some fun snacks, weather permitting--bring a blanket and watch the stars come out.
-Go to video store and pick out a DVD you'd both wanna watch--even if it's an oldie.
-Go bowling, making funny bets like the first one to get a strike gets a kiss or a compliment...or highest score picks what to do on next date...lowest score owes other back massage...be creative.
If this is only your 4th date, you still shold do things that are more interactive than a movie. That's so tradtional--think different--what can you guys do to get to know one another in a meaningful, fun way????

A movie on a 4th date is excellent! Now if it was a 1st date it would sort of suck because you don't get a chance to get to know one another.....unless you go out after and can talk about the movie which is a great conversation starter! By the way, 300 is a pretty good movie - not as good as I expected, but good nonetheless.

Haha...I love movie dates with my boyfriend, and we've been dating for ~five months. That said, I don't actually know what the last movie we went to was about, but we definitely had fun!

For a fourth date, it's not bad. 300 might not be a good choice, though--most girls don't like it.

True, the attention is on the movie. However, there could be parts in the movie which could bring on spontaneous hand holding, kisses, hugs, etc. If it is scary, she will grab onto you for support and you will be her strong hero. Plus, romantic parts of th emovie will make her see you in a different more romantic light as well. Just a thought. Hey, it's only 2 hours of you time, you canmake up for the lack of eye to eye contact later :-).

Movies r dark places! Make out time! No one can bother u if u sit in the back row and just make out 2 b by each other! Movies r my favorite kind of date. Other than hanging out in my basement making out and playing pool.

Since it's your fourth date, I'd say it should be fine. You can hold hands, cuddle and you're not allowed to talk, so it should be wonderful. And since now she's been looking forward to seeing it with you. Don't you dare cancel!!!

Have a great time, and get a big box of popcorn to share and you can feed her some, and a drink with two straws. (Avoid the oil on the popcorn, it just makes for messy).

300 is a great movie for you to watch but if it's a date I would recommend watching a romance movie instead so it's like it's on you & her & the movie as well.

Mix it up.Staying in all the time can be boring ,too.Go to a movie first, then go home and have an enjoyable evening at your place.Don't get into a rutt.

If she likes going to movies then take her to the movies-if you said you'd take her you should take her. Then go back to yours to hang out after.

But, if movies aren't your idea of fun, gently tell her. It shouldn't be that big a deal.
