Take some flowers to school, and drop them off to her during one of her classes. She'll be embarrassed, but will definatly say yes and will get bragging rights to her friends. AND you get brownie points :)

Just be yourself, start off asking her if she has a boyfriend, then if she doesn't then get to know her more, then ask her over the phone or where ever you see her, if she says no then be her friend, then maybe she'll give you a chance..
