I am on the Mens Novice Crew Team at my school. One of the rowers and I had a 5 week relationship, I really cared about him and when we ended things for the sake of the team. We broke up cause he said he didn't know what he would do if he ever emotionally hurt me.
Its been about 3 weeks after and when we are out with the guys or intoxicated he feels the need to call me a "s1ut" or say "whore" under his breath like he does for all his other ex's.
This is really painful espically from him cause i don't get around and we we were together I cared for him and now I feel used.
How do I tell him to stop calling me these names?
Should I confront him infront of the team?
Send him an e-mail?
How do I put it so I don't sound like a crazy ex?

Don't bring it up when he's drunk, and don't do it in front of the team. You should take a moment aside with him to tell him you do not appreciate what he does when he is drunk and ask him to please stop. If it continues, don't go out drinking with the team, and if he still does it outside of that, then it should be a team matter, because it effects team morale. Maybe there is a team mate you feel would be discreet about the matter who might be able to advise you on how to handle it, also.

Instead of saying somethin or wracking your mind on how to go about it......id simply ingnore him! Clearly hes not worth it and i think you should keep your chin up hold your head in the air and get on and enjoy life! Rumours are like dust - they'll eventually disappear! Your true friends will know what type of person you are and if others want to believe your ex - then let them! Id look after number 1, good luck and keep smiling!

Ignore him! He is totally just trying to get a rise out of you! Next time you hear him say that, just look at him and laugh as If to say " Sh!t your stupid". Then go about your business like you normally would! If you dont give them the reaction they expect they will soon loose interest and quit!
