the answer to your question is NO, you cannot beat up a man 7 years your senior. He's an adult you are a kid. You are beginning your teenager years he's finishing them, that's 7 years of experience, muscle development and so on.

On top of that he also is a martial artist, in order to get a blue belt in jiu-jitsu you need at least a year, so he's got you beat there also, as you've trained for only 3-4 months.

An adult fighting a minor is illegal, if he does that he could go to jail, so he's being smart by not fighting you.

I hope you like spending time on the floor.

Him having a blue belt in jiu-jitsu means he has tons more experience than you, typically (it takes at least a year to get blue), and the jjkan tend to learn more during their time than the basic arts (karate, tae kwon do) would learn in the same amount of time.

Just not a good idea, for you that is, unless you guys agree to go easy. Meh.

I'm not sure if you could beat him if he is in a martial art too. I'm a black belt in TKD and my older brother still believe that I wouldn't stand a chance against him. (Ha) I could kick him in the groin and (pow) I win. ;D
Oh, and he is probably not scared.

He's not going to fight you because he's an adult and you're a child. Adults don't harm children, unless they have mental problems.

He probably finds the whole scenario quite amusing.

im going to be completely honest, martial arts weren't meant for fighting people to see whos better, its about alot more than that, and one of the important things is self-contol and i think thats what your brothers friend is doing, learn from it and dont think its all about fighting.

Did not your Sensei teach you to mind your arrogant manner. I think you need to do three hundred knuckle pushups for this act of mindless arrogance.

He is probably not scared, but he knows he has nothing to gain, but everything to lose if he fights you. If you really want to get it started, place a wager on it.
