Enjoy the time you have with him, even if it is with a friend.
He may say he does not feel the same way, but who knows, after a summer of great friendship, you might find yourself in a long distance relationship that will take a lot of hard work, but pay off in the long run. The main thing is not to push him.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. But trust me, the pain WILL go away. The love might now cease, but the PAIN will. It may take days, weeks, months for you to get back on your feet, but it will happen. Flip through a magazine and stop on a page where a really hot guy is. Then focus on his characteristics. As weird as that sounds, it helps me get over a break up, or a broken heart. Imagine being with him, touching his handsome face, it makes you NOT think of the other guy. You have to jump back in the water as soon as possible. I'm not saying start looking for a different someone, but always be open minded.

the same thing happened to me with 2 of my best freinds! for a couple of months they felt very uncomfortable around each other and i felt stuck in the middle! eventually they began talking again and began to forget about what had happened. everything went back to normal. i'm sure this can happaen with u too! just try to appreciate the fact that you have him as a freind rather than not in your life at all! i understand it must be very painful to know you can't be anything more than friends, but there's no point dwelling on what you can't have when you should be thankful what you do have...a strong long-lasting friendship!

This guy hasn't built up any attraction to you because you are available to him ALL THE TIME. You say you can't handle not seeing him, but honestly, the only way he'll start to think of you differently is if you find other things to fill your time.
It's not about "avoiding" him, it's about being so busy he realizes how great you are.

Yeah , love stinks especially when you fall for your best friend's boyfriend :o It hurts me so badly when I found out that they were dating. I cried for days :/
Maybe you should forget about him and move on . Find someone else . Or .. maybe he likes you too , but is afraid to tell you.

Since he's moving away, its probably best to keep it at a friendship level. It will save both of you from an even deeper heartbreak.

love doesnt stink, my girl. i understand wat u r going through, i'd say either u can try to make him like u, or u just give it up totally, keep telling urself tat it's not going to be some sort of fairy tale, n get over it gradually. it's hard to have e best of both worlds, so stay strong, for urself.
