I was just wondering if the recent news about tainted dog/cat food has made anyone reconsider the way they feed their pets. Very luckily we were not affected because my 4 year old Rottie eats boiled meat every day, plus raw veggies, rice, eggs & about anything else he can get his mouth around!! But seriously, this is a decision that we made when he was very young, we have stuck by it, and we are blessed with a healthy happy dog. We are told by our vet that about 20% of people feed this way. I was just wondering if the recent news has made anyone rethink feeding....oh, by the way our Rottie also gets a Pet tab (vitamin) just in case anything is missing.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you who have lost your precious babies, and to those of you who are waiting for answers.
I believe its time to put the dog & cat food companies out of business or at least try - if you shop in the meat aisle for your dog i think you will be better off in the long run. Any questions, you can emai

I agree and have began to feed my dog as you have described. I talked to reps from many dog food companies and they all say that this has been an isolated incident but I don't trust them.

Trying to put the pet food business out of business is useless. Then people will want to put baby food companies out of business...then canning companies, frozen food companies...any company that processes food..any company that bottles medicine...the list is endless. Everyone can be as safe as they can..and there will always be nuts out there that will come up with something to cause problems. Be it food, medicines, envelopes, stamps, computers whatever...it is the people that do the damage, cause the damage that need to be stopped.
