I am a teenager under 19 who took asprin for flu-like symptoms. Can I prevent potential Reyes Syndrome?

Should I be worried or not? What should I do? I don't believe that I had a fever when I took the asprin but I have had one in the last few days, and I am above the majorly likely Reyes age (4-12 or something like that), but there's the whole better safe than sorry thing...SO does anyone here know more about Reyes than I do?

over here in the uk the age is 12 and its very rare anyway so dont worry
