Daisy ... You'll find some interests soon enough. There's no rule about how socially active you must be and no requirement to have any hobbies, either.
The malls are really a bore. Except for a quick thrill that some youngsters long for, there's not really anything there other than chances to get into trouble or spend money on things you don't really need.
So, while I appreciate your concerns, I would not worry too much. If you don't soon find some interests, talk to your parents about it. How about chilling out at your local library? I realize it might not be as convenient as it is for me; I'm across the street from a library. You don't have a particular interest? Then just find books about travel, perhaps, and flip some pages to check out the photos.
Don't worry too much. Things will perk-up soon enough, I think. Good luck and continue to stay out of trouble.

There are so many things you don't realize when you are a teenager. I remember being in the exact spot you are in now, except I didn't have yahoo answers to come to :)
The biggest mistake I made when I was a teenager is that I was always trying to fit in, I wanted to be popular, it never really happened, and I was honestly embarrassed by the people who were my friends because they weren't the coolest people. I am sure you wonder how this relates to your question...well here goes. I never appreciated the people in my life that stood by my side, I never enjoyed anything because I was so worried about what people thought. Sometimes I didn't have the desire to do anything fun because I had low self esteem and didn't realize it. You can have fun, just don't worry about everyone else and appreciate the real friends in your life. There is so much more that happens after being a teenager, there is so much pressure on you right now, but you just gotta realize that this moment in your life is the most free you will ever be. And you should be happy because you are alive and presumably healthy.
Just don't take yourself and your life too seriously. Don't worry about things too much and try to smile!

First of all stay away from the media, and by that I mean ALL television and movies.
Make sure your diet is healthy. It is easier to have fun when you have energy.
Read or listen to inspirational material like the Sara books by Esther and Jerry Hicks.
You have plenty of time to have fun and enjoy life. My most enjoyable years started at age 43. I could write a book on them, and it didn`t have anything to do with money.

Get out of your house and do laps as often as you can, and while your out, "Notice, the dog barking, and the birds singing, and the "Beautiful skies" and the smell of the fresh air" because honey with the way the "Government is running things" and with all of this "Global-Warming" we all need to start appreciating what we have now, not tommorow, because the bible even tells us that "None of us are promised tomorrow!!" Enjoy, today as if it were the last day of your life, and tomorrow the same way!! I hope I was of some help to you hun!! We all have so much to be "Grateful For" you know..... Look at all of your blessing's even around your house!! And try to just look at all of the good people do for you, and how much God has blessed your life, and you will slowly or quickly fall out of your "Slump" with the above Hope...And I'll say a prayer for you and claim Jeremiah 29:11 for your life, which says, "For I know the thought's that I think towards you, says: the Lord, "Thought's of peace, and not of evil, to give you a future, and of hope"..... This is my prayer for your life, sweet!!! May God Help your thought-life, and give you life, and life "More Abundantly, and draw you near to Him, and He to you..... And Father I claim Jeremiah 29:11, for this young lady, and for you to lift her spirit's up Father, you see she needs lifting-up, father....Help her to come out of her bad feelings and begin to lean on you for hope and Happiness Father......And I thank-you, Lord, In Jesus' Name I pray....Amen.....

fall in love, rebel and challenge everything!
joking.... just enjoy what you have, enjoy meeting new poeple and don't judge them by first sight... you might be losing a fountain of fun which that person might have provided for you.
in this way you'll get to know better yourself and maybe find something that you really like doing.
good luck!
and don't waste the most beautiful and exciting time of your life!
