The scriptures speak of persons who are vitriolic and flippant:

2Ti 3:1 But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty.
2Ti 3:2 For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy,
2Ti 3:3 heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good,
2Ti 3:4 treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,
2Ti 3:5 having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

Rom 1:26 For these reasons "...God gave them up to dishonorable passions."
(ESV translation)

The best solution I can recommend for you is to ignore any of the vapid questions or comments of the ill-mannered. It is very easy to scan past them and focus your eyes on the substantive and cogent items. If you spend enough time in this Forum the persons prone to bad behavior become known quickly, thereby enabling you to ignore their wasted efforts even easier.

I am not against all Christians, just the ones that treat me like dirt, or like I am some kind of second class citizen because I dont believe the same thing they do. Its amazing how many peace and love Christians treat me like total crap because I try to question their way of thinking when they start preaching to me.
Even though you are a Christian, try a little experiment, next time you are in a group of people talking about God and religion, express the opinion that you dont believe what they do. Watch the looks on the faces, pay attention to the body language of these people. You will instantly feel very uncomfortable. I am not asking you not to believe, just pretend, and see what reaction you get.
Then you will see why so many people are against Christians.

I think the problem is that being a Christian implies that you must "spread" your faith to others. Imposing your beliefs upon other people sets the stage for criticism of your beliefs, which usually results in an infinite amount of bible verse comebacks and a lack of any evidence. An argument ensues with no real answers being found. The Christian will continue clinging to their faith and the non-believer will continue not believing. However, does any love come out of this? The Christian knows that angering the non believer will not spread love. The non-believer, while unbelieving in the Christian faith, hopefully understands that love is better than hate and that taking part in a faith fight will accomplish nothing. This argument does nothing more than create disdain for both parties. Who started it? Who is attempting to preach love? Find the answer and you will see why many are against Christianity. I respect your faith, but your attempt at conversion shows that you have no respect for mine. Love, not hate.

Regarding "bringing people to Christ": Most people already know about Christ and the Bible. Just because they're not a Christian doesn't mean that they want to convert.

Think about it this way. When you're in a department store shopping around for make-up, do you like it when sales associates come up to you out of no where, telling you how great their product is; how it's the only product you'll ever need; there's nothing in the world like it, and essentially pressuring your buy it? And if you don't buy it, they warn you that you're going to regret it for the rest of your life ...

That's how most people feel when Christians try to bring them the Good News of Christ. It's like the religion, itself, becomes a product they're pressured to buy, and if they don't, they'll burn in hell.

Also, I've known a lot of Christians who say things like "but, I don't judge. That's God's job, not mine..." and yet, they turn around and talk disrespectfully about other people who don't belong in their "clique". "Ewww, look at her! she's Wiccan, she worships Satan! Oh and her shoes are just horrid!" Seriously, it's like being in high-school all over again.

I mean no disrespect, but this is exactly what I've experienced with every Christian church I've been to - and trust me, I've been around, I live in a big city (1.2 million people).

This is why I, personaly, don't like the general populous of Christians.

He who denies the Father & the Son is antichrist (against Christians).

There are a lot of antichrists out there. They are those who were presented Gods Redeeming Grace & deny it. So, then are antichrist.

I am sure you are bring people to Christ. But the antichrist falsely accuse & attack Gods Truth more often. But there are people out there who are turning to Christ by the 1000s, and that is worth the many antichrist commentaries suffered.

In every group of people, there are some rude nut-cases. In the case of Christians, it's the rude nut-cases that get noticed and, as a result, people view Christians as rude nut-cases as a whole.

usally average non religious people has doubt on the existence of god.

they are sometimes intimidated by the abolute confidence in god of christians.

The typical propaganda of selling christianity is to me boring.

I am not against christianity.

I am not atheist.

I respesct all religions when they hit the core of my heart , MY EYES ARE WET.

But typical repetoire of the bible isnt interesting.

Today we have other problems that didnt exixt before.

Our culture isnt what it used to be.

Christians must be sensitive to what s going on now.

If they just repeat what was written in bible , I THINK

christains will give unsatisfactory answers to people who need so badly certain answer.

I am the person who recently
gave up believing in evolution theory and start to believe

in something superb .

But I AM NOT CHRISTIAN.

I don't know. I really wish I did...you'd think that people would be drawn to love, rather than try to rebel against it. I just pray that God gives me the words to say. It says in His word that His words won't return to Him void, so even if you don't see it, you do make an impression on people. Just keep living for Him, and I'll be praying for you, that you will have the opportunity to lead several people to Christ!

Read John 15:17-27 - the world persecuted Jesus, therefore, as Christians are followers of Jesus, they can expect the same. In other words, Jesus prophesied it would happen.

I am not against Christians. I am not against anyone. I do ask that I be left in peace when I explain to another that I am very fulfilled with my chosen path.
