Where can I purchase a split box spring mattress for a Queen bed my stair layout requires this approach?

My queen mattress will fit up stairs with some significant persuasion but the traditional box spring will not fit up the stairs due to dimension of the stairs. It seems that an obvious solution would be to purchase a split-box spring if they exist?

Most bedding retailers are able to provide a split Queen bed foundation. Phone around and ask. You will also get different prices.

Buy 2 Queen twins. Also make sure you get something to hold them together, otherwise they'll keep sliding apart. Very annoying when you are busy 'sleeping'.
