Why do white couples prefer adopting Chinese children than other race?
There are more orphans and poor families in Africa or India actually.

Are you kidding me with this nonsense? What statistical basis do you have for this question? What does it matter the race of the child? The point of adoption is to give a child a home, it shouldn't matter what color or origin the child has or the adoptive parents. Raise the child in a loving home. That is what matters.

It's not about race.. it's about ease of adoption, the children in need and especially (and the main reason for oversees in general) is that the birth mother can't change her mind and get the baby back.
There are a lot of agencies to assist with chinese adoption. China is a HUGE country that has family size restrictions. Of course people are going to work with another developed nation as opposed to some risky adoption in a third world country.

Do you have factual information that white couples prefer adopting Chinese children? Maybe they are easier to adopt in the long run. Look at Angelina Jolie, she didn't adopt any chinese children.

I don't think white people are as racist as most people make them out to be, but I do think that asian races are a little more acceptable to families because of the positive stereotypes (Smarter, prettier, etc). I don't why... I think subconciously the racial stereotypes are still out there, though most people don't really subscribe to them, especially when it comes to kids. The chinese thing I think comes from it being so easy to adopt there and that it is the most advertised! Not to mention other continents have a more brutal reputation of political unrest and many people are scared to go there!

What? I know white people who have adopted black and white children. where do you get the idea that white people only adopt chinese children?

Did you know Chinese girls get killed as a baby just because the parents dont think they'll make good use?
Thats why there are immigrants....
and thats why many people adopt them.

I don't think that they prefer...it's easier & cheaper to adopt outside the US...........Plus when you want to be a parent....it simply doesn't matter what race the child is....
