Because she is away from her mom. Takes patience. We got a puppy at christmas and for the first week or 2 she was restless and cried. You need to put her in her area and let her cry for a few minutes at a time. Each time you leave her a little longer. Start at say 3 minutes then go back and console her....then 5 minutes....in time she will get used to you being "gone" and accept you are her mom and you will come back. You need to break this now or you'll have bigger problems later.
I remember the first night we had our puppy home I gave in and slept on the couch with her but after awhile she just stopped....
Good luck

Maybe she feels bad, give her some attention, or she may have some eye problems, take her to a vet as soon as possible. The vet will know what to do even if its nothing wrong with her eyes. She may cry over someone she has been separated. You shuldn't take her away from mother that early !!!! And remember, no matter what u do GIVE HER A LOT OF ATTENTION, she is like a human, she needs someone too...

This is extremely normal for very young puppies. It may be a bit worse for yours, since she should really be with her mother for another few weeks; 7 weeks is a bit early too remove her. Also:
-She’s scared. She is in a new place with new people. Nothing looks or smells familiar, and she is confused and worried about that.
-She is, for the first time in her life, without her mother and littermates. She is insecure and lonely.
Puppies grow out of this quickly, usually in a day, or perhaps a few, once they are used to their new home and their new people.

Becayse a 7 week old pup is too young to be away from it's mother and the rest of the litter; if you bought that pup from a breeder, it was illegal for them to seel you that pup at that age. Puppies need to stay with their litter until at least 8 weeks of age.
Please speak to your vet right this minute about what to do.
