The languages would be French, English and Japanese (the first two would have been learned from parent and living in uk, the third from studying it a university). Furthermore, what jobs could i do for a sports company (preferrably adidas)? (The qualifications would be just a diploma in japanese, not japanese and business or something like that)

I don't understand the above answerer's snobbishness towards linguists (why 'mere'?), particularly since he seems to be one himself, but I do agree that you don't necessarily have to go into a heavily language-based career if you don't want to. Languages can give you an edge over other candidates in a variety of positions. Unfortunately, though, these positions rarely allow you to actually use your languages. Maybe you could consider a role in sales, where you could have contact with employees and customers in countries where your languages are spoken.

Of course, if you really want to use your languages, you could go into translating and/or interpreting, as Dot suggested. The choice is yours.

Your best bet is not to look for a career into which you can squeeze your languages, but rather for a career in which they might give you the edge over other candidates. If you want to work for a sports company, then see if the way in is through marketing or selling or accountancy - and use your languages as a useful tool, rather than an end in themselves. The world awaits you -- don't settle for being a mere linguist.
