Why do you get sick when you sleep under a fan or air conditioner?

Blowing air from a room has dust, pollen, etc.

not sure but i get sore throat if i sleep with a fan on. i think i sleep with my mouth open and taking in all that cold air must aggravate my throat.

The dust from the fan irritates my throat. That may be the cause for you too.

Cause you catch a cold?
I mean your laying in the cold for hours.
Thats just my guess.
