My upstairs neighbor always spits down where my door is, he has almost hit me on a few occasions?

is there anything I can do to fix this problem? (it's a 2 story apartment complex)

Talk to him if you're comfortable with it. If not, talk to the management of your complex. It's their job to take care of problems with tenants. I got my neighbor's kids to stop screaming and banging on the walls in the middle of the night that way!

Well first I would ask nicely for them to stop or use a spittoon, something besides my door step. If they are super rude and continue have it hit you and call the police because it is assault. Chances are no one will get in a whole lot of trouble if you are not going to press charges but it will make them disgusting people think twice. On the other hand you could tell the land owner or move.

A mean person would say duh, sleep with his wife.. But, to keep the peace, ask him politely to stop. Or, you can try not to go outside when he's outside. I know a female hip hop artist spit on a person while at the salon and she got assault charges. So let him spit on you and file a complaint. Good luck!!

Explain to him how you feel and politely (keyword there) ask him to stop. If he refuses or continues go to the land lord (what is the actual term) and tell him to stop.
