Hello, Looking for a nice beach or other vacation spot for a single dad and his 3 children. children range from 5 to 13. Looking for someplace laid back, without out all the college aged crowed. Yet still have things to do and places to got.

Myrtle beach SC is nice and there is a lot to do for every age, or the west coast of Florida around Fort Myers or Sanibel island. Look for places with water sports or anything your 13 year old would enjoy, 5 year old as easier to satisfied.
If it is in your budget look for resorts when they offer different activities for kids. Try hotel.com

Kissimee & st cloud are good. you can lodge cheap eat and about 1 hr. from coastal beaches.Old town has go carts rides etc and st cloud has a lakefront beach. 1 hour to tampa & cypress gardens waterski shows all age range of ur kids.

hmmmm.
All the beaches I go to have college aged crowds and heavily developed.
but if you wanta beach that is not so developed, I would suggest Hatteras, NC. Mostly fishermen go there but it's quaint.
