GHD irons are amazing - they are excellent. My hair is super curly - but when I use my GHDs - it looks like I was born with poker straight hair. And it stays in great condition!

Blow dry it first using a syrum like frizz ease with a round metal barrel brush.. then straighten using solid ceramic irons that are at least 200 degrees heat (u dont have to spend a fortune on these - mine were only a tenner from argos GHD - ur paying for the name). If u want it to stay soft, dont spray with hairspray, put some on ur hands and smooth fly aways down.
Hope its of help

I tried that new Pro Age by Dove and its great. I am 36 so not THAT old just thought I would try it. My hair is long and it was so soft it blew very straight with the dryer. At Tesco its buy one get one free costing £1.92 for the shampoo and conditioner. Try it you dont have to be old.

Use a really good conditioner from the salons and use a heat protection for your hair before straightening with straighteners.

condition condition condition
and only wash your hair 2 times a week
in between washes, spray it with some green tea and comb... don't douse
when you wash your hair, condition.... add some veggie oil to your conditioner to make it super moisturizer
conditioner
Redken's all soft heavy cream
mayo
egg yolk
olive oil
TreSemme smooth intense shampoo and conditioner
even better, heat up the olive oil and mayo...
heat up your regular conditioner
cut down on styling and don't brush your hair when its wet... comb it... use cream and gel as opposed to mousse... cream is moisturizing even better than gel
when you blow dry, make sure you use a diffuser

use a hair moisturiser before you shampoo. (try any one of the range from lush.) after you condition leave your hair to dry naturally then straighten it. This way your hair is moisturised, full of shine and not damaged from too much heat.
Hope this helps. xxx
