this is our sixth essay of the year in US History, and its DEATH!! lol, i hate the subject the teacher and the work she gives us, AHH< i could be doing wayy more funner and different things.

I despise essays on subjects I don't fully understand, which seems to be most everything. When I have to write a paper on subjects I am interested in I go crazy. Why? Because I have to figure out what NOT to put in.
I wish there was an essay cheat sheet I could follow. You know, like the cheat sheets they have for video games. That would be great! Just plug in what you need and there ya go!

Here's one suggestion for getting yourself started on some dreaded assignment like this: begin by writing out total garbage on whatever subject you have to address, just to get your mind working and your thoughts flowing.
It doesn't have to make any sense or be correct in any way, for that first "garbage" draft. NOBODY is going to see this, so just let yourself go.
Here's a lame attempt at an example----------add your own expletives, if desired!
This is the stupidest essay assignment I've ever had. What the bleep do I know or care about the reasons for the divisions between the North and South leading up to the Civil War [or whatever the topic is!]. I hate this class. Some kind of crap about taxes, slavery, land ownership, stuff like that.
I don't know. Ok, what were people griping about with taxes? Something about blahblahblahblah...............
and just go on like this. Eventually, you'll have enough written out that you can go back and pick out the bare bones of the actual paper you can work up and hand in.
Getting started is the hardest part, so don't try to write the final material starting out. Ease your way into it.

OMG My English Comp Teacher she gives little guidance on anything we are doing in class. We are on our third Essay of the year a Comaprison/ Contrast paper in side by side method with no use of Outside sources. I hope I can make a decent rough draft by Tuesday so I can have a productive conference with her to get some help on how to put it together. The final draft is Due two days later.

omg, essays are horrific!! I hate them sooooo much. they also expect so much out of you and then you spend hours doing it and then they give you a bad grade! It is annoying!
