I think the doctor cannot not give a straight answer because he cannot assume any illness or problem without them being proven.. irregular period could be due to stress, depression, or some hormonal changes (medicine)....
in the case of light bleeding, it is best to consult a doctor as the site of bleeding is important.. if bleeding occurs in intestine, it could be digestion problems. if occurs around the bottom region, it could lead to piles...
about implantation bleeding, it is quite normal and easy to heal unless you got infected (hope not^^)
but in the meantime, don't worry about it so much since worrying does not help but worsen the situation.. or you can consult other types of treatment, eg: chinese physician or something.. they are more specialised in "inner flow of body" and perhaps understand more

That sounds a little weird, usually when they do a pregnancy test by blood, when they do get the results they will say congratulations or something to the effect.
It sounds like your doctor does not make themselves clear to you, and you are not really feeling like you are in the best care possible.
You should really consider finding a new doctor. Especailly if you are looking to embark on a pregnancy and delivery of a very specail baby, you want to make sure that you have a nice, educated, caring and well spoken doctor by your side.

Call your doctor and get some straight answers or go to another doctor for a second opinion. You can never be too careful when it comes to your health. Also, write down all your questions before your call or visit so you don't forget to ask something. Just pipe up. It's save you lots of worrying later. I had to learn that and now I get answers and I visit several doctors or get referrals before I settle on one particular doctor. It's hard to find the good ones, but they're out there. Good luck.

If the doc did an internal pelvic exam he/she would know right away if you are pregnant and would have/should have talked to you about your due date and your appointment schedule for the next months. So if that didn't happend, I don't think you are pregnant. Call the doc and ask if you are pregnant or go in for another exam. Periods can be irratic for a lot of reasons.

It's normal..You're not, don't worry..Your period being gone for so long may be due to some sort of birth control you may be using, or even stress..Too much stress can stop your normal menstrual cycle.Once you are able to stop worrying about not getting your period, you'll get it.My sister didn't get her period for almost a whole year but that was because she was taking birth control pills. So i suggest relax, try to stay stress free and stop using birth controls if you're using it.Otherwise ask your doctor if their is anything you can take to get your period.Good luck!

If you don't feel your doctor is giving you a straight answers then I suggest seeing another doctor. I've had problems with doctors in the past screwing things up, so it's best to get a second opinion if you feel uncomfortable about your doctor's performance.

And why didn't you discuss this with the doctor? Why didn't you ask questions while you were there, that is what you are paying this doctor for, don't you know that? Call their office and start asking questions regarding your visit and don't hang up until you are satisfied with what you hear. Then, get yourself some protection.

If you have a real concern, get a second opinion.Your problems may not be due to pregnancy at all.
